The investment company Tishman Speyer has sold the office building at Hans-Böckler-Strasse 36 in Düsseldorf as part of a share deal. Purchaser of the property is the pan-European property fund VastNed Offices/Industrial. The purchase price amounted to ca. 30 million euros. This is the third property in Düsseldorf acquired by VastNed and its fifth in Germany. Tishman Speyer was advised on the sale exclusively by Colliers Trombello Kölbel Immobilienconsulting GmbH.

The building from the year 1992 is located in the submarket Kennedydamm, one of the prospering Düsseldorf office locations between the city centre and Düsseldorf International Airport. The five-storey building encloses a landscaped inner courtyard in the shape of an O with its facade of natural stone, glass and aluminium. The net area of ca. 7,400 m² is let completely to the Victoria Lebensversicherung AG insurance company. A basement car park on two levels provides employees and clients with 121 parking spaces.

Tishman Speyer is one of the world's leading investors and property project developers. Since its foundation in the year 1978 the company has acquired or developed a portfolio with a total value of over 35 billion euros. The portfolio includes such striking buildings as the Rockefeller Center or the OpernTurm (Opera Tower) in Frankfurt. In Germany Tishman Speyer has been active since 1988 and has already acquired or developed properties here for a total of ca. 4 billion euros.

VastNed Offices/Industrial is a listed property fund which invests mainly in office and commercial properties. The fund provider is VastNed Management B.V. in the Netherlands. At present the fund owns around 180 properties with a total volume of ca. 1.13 billion euros.
