   <title>DTZ Holdings plc: Annual General Meeting and Interim Management Statement</title>

      Tim Melville-Ross, Chairman of DTZ, made the following statement at the Group's AGM at 11.00am today at One Curzon Street, London W1:       <br />
              <br />
       "The Group's results for the year to 30 April 2008 were inevitably impacted by the deterioration in global economic conditions which had &#8211; and continue to have - a substantial impact on property markets generally. Despite this, I was pleased to report in July that our underlying profitability remained at a creditable level and in line with revised market expectations.        <br />
              <br />
       Revenue for 2007/08 increased substantially by 44% to £446.3 million, boosted by the impact of acquisitions, and, encouragingly, organic growth of 15%. Despite this increase, however, profit before tax and exceptional items reduced by 46% to £20.6 million, largely as a result of the change in mix of our income streams with much of our capital markets business particularly affected by difficult economic conditions.       <br />
              <br />
       We regard the continuing prudent management of the business as vital to ensure that we are well placed in the future to benefit from the return of more normal market conditions and thereby deliver long-term value to our shareholders. We have, therefore, focused even greater emphasis on managing our cost base. Various measures were put in place from Autumn 2007, including selective recruitment restrictions which resulted in a net reduction of around 200 jobs through natural wastage by the end of the last financial year. Since then, ongoing measures are expected to generate further savings in this financial year of at least £15 million. This, together with lower variable remuneration reflecting trading, should substantially offset the impact of reduced transactional volumes.       <br />
              <br />
       In addition, the Board firmly believes that we must remain focused on the development of the Group's strategy to work with clients to create leading edge property, investment and business solutions worldwide. It is this established strategy that has allowed the Group to generate profits in these difficult market conditions, albeit at reduced levels, with both our geographic and skill diversifications broadening the range of income sources to give us some protection from adverse developments in certain areas.       <br />
              <br />
       <b>Market and economic climate</b>       <br />
              <br />
       The economic outlook has continued to deteriorate since our year-end report to shareholders and it now appears likely that the economic consequences of the credit crunch and rising inflation will be felt until 2010 at least. The global economy is now so integrated that it is unlikely that one region can effectively decouple from another. However, the varying economic conditions in different parts of the world is providing a degree of protection to organisations like DTZ that have the capability to operate a broad range of activities across most global markets.       <br />
              <br />
       Real estate market and trading conditions       <br />
              <br />
       The impact of these difficult economic conditions is now being felt in real estate markets around the world, but to different degrees and over different timescales. Thus market difficulties experienced first in the US and the UK are now being felt in continental Europe and in most Asia Pacific markets.       <br />
              <br />
       Real estate investors have become increasingly cautious and this will be reflected in further re-pricing in a number of markets. However, significant equity funds are available for investment, and, at the right levels, real estate will again become a favoured asset class. There are purchasers in the market, but they are demanding and cautious. In many locations, there is a gap between vendor and purchaser expectations although the public emergence of distressed situations and associated pricing may assist increased market activity, albeit from a low base.       <br />
              <br />
       Occupational market activity is also inevitably being affected, with tenant demand reflecting general economic conditions and selectively putting pressure on rental values, although a more modest development programme than in past cycles means there is unlikely to be a large vacancy overhang in most major markets.       <br />
              <br />
       While these underlying conditions impact on transactional activity, our strong teams in non-transactional areas have generally shown robust performance during the year to date.       <br />
       There is still good demand for valuation services, in part prompted by these volatile economic conditions, while our long established corporate recovery team has been very busy and is operating in over 20 countries. There are also good levels of activity in both professional services and consulting, prompted by demand for outsourcing property management, requirements for project management and building consultancy skills, and for corporate strategy and consolidation advice for occupiers.       <br />
              <br />
       <b>Outlook</b>       <br />
              <br />
       We expect the Group's results for the year to follow the normal pattern and be weighted towards the second half. However, in the current market conditions it is more than usually difficult to forecast  full year results which inevitably will be affected by economic, market and corporate trends.       <br />
              <br />
       With a focus on attracting quality business, building our market presence and ensuring a proper attention to cost control without undermining the capacity of the business to respond when market conditions improve, we believe that the Group is positioned to deliver growth and value for our shareholders in the medium term.       <br />

       The Belgian Ministry of Justice, the Service Public Fédéral Justice, has taken advantage of the services provided by the global property consultant Cushman &amp; Wakefield and decided to convert the 4,000 m² of office space at Rue de Louvain 38 in Brussels to accommodate its electronic surveillance service.       <br />
               <br />
       The building is right next to the Belgian Parliament and has recently undergone extensive renovation work, carried out by Landsbeeck NV.       <br />
               <br />
       The move is set for the autumn of 2008.       <br />

      OTZ Logistics Group, a company that provides logistic integrated solutions for its partners and customers, along with modern warehousing and transport services, signed a lease contract for 5000 sqm of logistic spaces and 500 sqm of offices in LOG Center Timisoara, a project developed by EYEMAXX Real Estate and it finalized pre-contracts for other six cities: Brasov, Ploiesti, Cluj, Bacau, Constanta and Craiova.        <br />
              <br />
              <br />
       "LOG Center is a network of logistic centers with a total investment of around 500 millions euro. The first project of the company on the Romanian market, estimated at approximately 40 millions euro, is LOG Center Timi&#351;oara, built on a piece of land of 12 hectares. The warehouse space will have around 51,000 square meters, while 11,000 square meters were allocated for the office spaces. LOG Center will be one of the most important providers of industrial spaces in Timisoara, and besides its spectacular stocking area, it also has an excellent location, being situated at 11 km away from Timisoara, at a short distance from International Airport "Traian Vuia". Other three of the ten centers are located in Ploie&#351;ti, Bra&#351;ov, and Sibiu, while the rest regards provincial cities, too as Bacau, Cluj, Oradea, or Constanta. The total area of the projects that will be developed until 2010 reaches, according to the estimations, approximately 500,000 sqm", declared Marian Orzu, Manager of Industrial Department,        <br />

       EYEMAXX Real Estate is an active international developer, mainly focused on Eastern Europe. The company headquarters appeared as a result of a merging between several development companies and it is situated in Vienna. The affiliates of EYEMAXX Real Estate Company are also present in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine and Russia (still in process of founding).       <br />

   <title>J.P. Morgan research points to growing influence of sustainability in real estate</title>

       At 9th annual European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA) conference, J.P. Morgan presented research entitled ‘Survival of the Fittest' highlighting how sustainability can act as a key differentiator for European listed real estate companies in their drive to enhance shareholder value. Drawing on       <br />
       an innovative model of analysis, J.P. Morgan created a ranking based on weighted criteria to measure the sustainability of European listed real estate companies. The ranking takes into account a range of factors, from levels of corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure to how successfully firms have originated, developed and measured sustainable initiatives. It found that the UK's British Land and Land Securities scored highest in its Sustainability rankings.       <br />
              <br />
       &#8220;Sustainability will be a key differentiator for European listed real estate companies as they face increasingly stringent regulatory standards. On a broader basis, Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) concerns are also gaining momentum with tenants and investors, for example, as they look to reduce energy costs. European real estate companies that are best able to enhance shareholder value from a firm and demonstrable commitment to sustainability initiatives, will increasingly outperform       <br />
       the market,&#8221; said Harm Meijer, the co-author of the J.P. Morgan report.       <br />
              <br />
       Another finding of the J.P. Morgan research was the relative robustness of taxefficient REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) structures in the European market compared with non-REIT property stocks. Building on the findings of the report entitled 'European REIT development', that the firm delivered at last year's EPRA conference in Athens, J.P. Morgan reported how European REITs have capitalised on       <br />
       lower levels of leverage and higher levels of disclosure to outperform non-REITS by more than 11% year-to-date. In the UK, REITs have outperformed their counterparts by 18% year-to-date, according to the report.       <br />
              <br />
       In its wider coverage of the European real estate sector, J.P. Morgan forecasted that European real estate share prices were in general unlikely to recover further until the first quarter of 2009, but highlighted the fact that the sector is diversified and companies with high quality assets and strong balance sheets will show value in the longer-term.       <br />

      Afirma Grupo Inmobiliario ha procedido a la reorganización de su equipo directivo con nombramientos en las áreas financiera, promoción y relación con inversores. Jesús Tortuero ha sido nombrado director general económico-financiero en sustitución de Borja Lería. El nuevo responsable del área económico-financiera era hasta ahora director general de promoción de Afirma y con anterioridad fue el director financiero de Rayet Promoción. Jesús Tortuero reúne, por lo tanto, un profundo conocimiento del negocio inmobiliario y del sector financiero. Una vez cerrada la restructuración del pasivo bancario, Afirma entra en una nueva etapa en la que va primar la gestión ordinaria del negocio y la puesta en valor de su cartera de activos.       <br />
              <br />
       Llanos García, hasta ahora directora comercial de Afirma, asume la dirección del área de promoción del grupo. Llanos García tendrá bajo su responsabilidad el desarrollo de las promociones inmobiliarias de Afirma y contará entre sus competencias con la gestión de la dirección comercial de la compañía. Llanos García se incorporó a principios del presente año a Afirma Grupo Inmobiliario procedente de Ferrovial Inmobiliaria, empresa en la desempeñó el cargo de directora comercial, marketing y atención al cliente.       <br />
              <br />
       Esta reorganización del equipo de dirección de Afirma Grupo Inmobiliario se completa con la incorporación de Jaime Amoribieta como director de desarrollo corporativo y relación con inversores. Jaime Amoribieta cuenta con una dilatada experiencia profesional y ha trabajado, entre otras sociedades, en Montebalito, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Marc Rich y Banco Guipuzcoano como consejero delegado, director corporate finance y analista de inversiones.       <br />
              <br />
       Afirma Grupo Inmobiliario refuerza así su equipo directivo y se dota de una nueva dirección que se encargará de las relaciones con los inversores.       <br />
              <br />
       Afirma se había centrado hasta ahora en la gestión empresarial del grupo, con la fusión de diecinueve sociedades y la renegociación de la deuda como principales objetivos ya alcanzados. A partir de ahora, con la nueva dirección de relación con inversores, Afirma destinará también sus esfuerzos a lograr un mejor reconocimiento de su estrategia por parte de los inversores. En este sentido, Afirma prepara ya una ampliación de capital para la que cuenta con el asesoramiento técnico y legal de Morgan Stanley y Freshfield.       <br />

       Por otro lado, la dirección de desarrollo corporativo que desempeñará Jaime Amoribieta estará destinada a explorar nuevas alternativas en la actividad del grupo, así como a la captación de recursos para desarrollar nuevos proyectos como la cartera de vivienda protegida o el área internacional. Jaime Amoribieta ha dirigido a lo largo de su carrera profesional operaciones de inversión tanto en el sector inmobiliario como en el hotelero o el de las energías renovables.       <br />

   <title>L'immobilier et la construction frappés par les défaillances d'entreprises</title>

      La dégradation conjoncturelle française que Euler Hermes SFAC analysait dès le mois de mai a été confirmée par la publication d'une baisse de -0,3% du PIB au deuxième trimestre 2008. Face à l'assombrissement de l'environnement international et à la faiblesse de la consommation, la situation financière des entreprises françaises s'est fragilisée au printemps et à l'été ce qui nous amène à prévoir une croissance pour la France de 1% en 2008 et 0,8% à 0,9% en 2009.       <br />
              <br />
       La remontée de la sinistralité constatée au 1er semestre de l'année 2008 en France, qui touche toutes les régions, toutes les tailles d'entreprises et pratiquement tous les secteurs, est la conséquence mécanique de la dégradation conjoncturelle. L'assureur-crédit Euler Hermes SFAC confirme que les défaillances devraient augmenter de 10 % à 15 % en 2008 en France.       <br />
              <br />
       <b>Passe difficile pour la conjoncture française</b>       <br />
              <br />
       Deux obstacles continuent de bloquer la croissance française : la stagnation des revenus réels des ménages liée au choc des matières premières et au freinage des créations d'emploi, et la crise du bâtiment. Par ailleurs, la brutale détérioration de la situation économique des partenaires européens de la France à partir du printemps a fortement pesé sur le secteur industriel. Les entreprises françaises ont d'ailleurs commencé à ajuster leurs dépenses en services, investissements et en emplois pour répondre à la décélération des demandes externe et interne.        <br />
              <br />
       La baisse des dépenses des entreprises s'explique également par une dégradation de leur situation financière. « L'envolée des coûts des matières premières a grevé les marges dans plusieurs secteurs, tandis que le ralentissement des demandes interne et externe excluait une répercussion complète sur les prix de vente et freinait le chiffre d'affaires » souligne Karine Berger, Directrice des Etudes.       <br />
              <br />
       Dans ce contexte, l'assureur-crédit Euler Hermes SFAC prévoit une croissance du PIB de la France de 1 % pour 2008 et entre 0,8 % et 0,9 % pour 2009.       <br />
              <br />
       <b>Forte remontée des défaillances</b>       <br />
              <br />
       La remontée des défaillances d'entreprises observée en 2007 (+5 %) s'est accentuée au cours du 1er semestre 2008 sous l'effet de la détérioration de l'environnement économique et financier. Le nombre de jugements d'ouverture de procédures collectives publiés au Bodacc a fortement progressé (+15 %) par rapport au 1er semestre 2007, concernant plus de 28 500 entreprises. En données cumulées sur douze mois à fin juin 2008, le nombre de défaillances (53 640) retrouve son plus haut niveau depuis dix ans, enregistrant sa plus forte progression (+9 %) depuis 2002.       <br />
              <br />
       Au cours du 1er semestre 2008 la hausse des défaillances s'est généralisée à l'ensemble des entreprises toutes tailles confondues       <br />
              <br />
       L'augmentation des procédures collectives concerne majoritairement les très petites entités (+13 % en cumul 12 mois à fin juin, pour les entreprises sans salarié) et plus généralement les entreprises de moins de 20 salariés. C'est vraisemblablement l'effet de la montée des créations d'entreprises de ces dernières années et qui ont encore progressé de plus de 10 % au cours des douze derniers mois. Mais on constate qu'au cours du 1er semestre 2008 la hausse des défaillances s'est généralisée à l'ensemble des entreprises sans réelle distinction de taille. C'est le cas des entreprises significatives, réalisant un CA de plus de 15 millions d'euros : leur nombre est reparti à la hausse au cours du 1er semestre 2008 avec 79 cas recensés (61 au 1er semestre 2007).       <br />
              <br />
       <b>Les secteurs directement liés à la demande des ménages sont durement frappés</b>       <br />
              <br />
       La construction, l'immobilier, le commerce de détail et la restauration sont durement frappés par le ralentissement des dépenses de consommation et d'investissement en logement des ménages.        <br />
       La dégradation de la solvabilité des entreprises de la construction et de l'immobilier s'est accentuée au 1er semestre 2008 avec le retournement du cycle dans le logement résidentiel, lié au resserrement des conditions de crédit. Ces deux secteurs sont de loin les plus forts contributeurs à la progression de la sinistralité, car ils comptent à eux seuls pour 30 % de l'ensemble des défaillances et ils enregistrent les plus fortes progressions de dépôts de bilan : au 1er semestre 2008, +27% de défaillances pour la construction et +36,7% pour l'immobilier.        <br />
              <br />
       Dans les transports, la situation s'est détériorée depuis plusieurs mois, conséquence du renchérissement des prix des carburants : ainsi après un repli de 15 % en 2007, les défaillances sont reparties à la hausse (+16 % au 1er semestre 2008 par rapport à la même période de l'an dernier, +1 % en cumul annuel à fin juin).       <br />
              <br />
       <b>Défaillances supérieures à la moyenne nationale dans 13 régions</b>       <br />
              <br />
       L'augmentation des défaillances s'est généralisée à l'ensemble des régions : à fin juin 2008 (en données cumulées sur 12 mois), seules la Champagne (-5 %) et la région Rhône-Alpes (-0,5 %) s'inscrivent encore en repli. Dans treize régions l'augmentation des jugements est supérieure à la moyenne nationale, avec des évolutions qui dépassent les 20%en Corse (+48,3 %), dans le Centre (+23 %), le Nord-Pas de Calais (+20,5 %) et le Limousin (20 %). En Ile de France où plus de 12 000 jugements ont été prononcés (22 % des jugements) la tendance reste à la hausse (+7,5 %).       <br />

      On 3 July 2008, real estate investment company Sponda announced the signing of an agreement to sell real estate company Kluuvikatu 8 to real estate equity fund managed by Exilion Capital Oy for approximately &euro;42 million. Closing of the transaction took place yesterday.       <br />
              <br />
       The property, with a floor area of about 10,000 m², is rented under a long-term lease to Sokotel Oy and it houses Sokos Hotel Helsinki.        <br />
              <br />
       In this transaction Sponda is selling a hotel property that is not in line with its current strategy. As stated in the company's strategy, Sponda focuses on owning office, retail and logistics properties.       <br />

   <title>Sustainable Investment Conference at EXPO REAL</title>

       <b>How are leading European and US real estate investors incorporating sustainability criteria into their investment strategies? Are there already robust business models out there? If so, what do they look like?</b>       <br />
              <br />
       The property sector can find answers to these questions at the first Sustainable Investment Conference, which is being held at the EXPO REAL commercial property show in Munich and will focus on the commercial dimension of the sustainability megatrend. The conference includes contributions by fund management companies such as the UK's Igloo Regeneration and Hamburg-based Union Investment Real Estate AG, alongside developers like ICADE, OVG Projektonwikkeling and Hammerson, on how to construct a sustainable portfolio and the economic viability of sustainable investment. Special guest and LEED expert Jerry Yudelson played a key role in developing the LEED certificate for sustainable properties as a member of the US Green Building Council. Dr. Ursula Weidenfeld, editor-in-chief of "impulse" business magazine, will moderate the conference.        <br />

       A further highlight is the awards ceremony for the 2008 Prime Property Award, a competition which attracted a total of 90 real estate projects from 18 countries. With prize money totalling &euro;30,000, organiser Union Investment is using this Award to recognize investors who have implemented ecologically, socially and economically sustainable real estate investments in Europe. The entries to the Prime Property Award range from spectacular new builds to existing property developments and complete refurbishments, each featuring a commitment to ecological principles and the creation of a healthy living environment, while combining a high level of architectural quality with a long-term return on investment.        <br />

       "Interest in sustainability used to be largely confined to the academic world, but things are starting to change. Investors are becoming increasingly aware that by adopting an ecological approach, they are investing in the long-term quality of their property portfolio - and that this strategy pays dividends," says Dr. Reinhard Kutscher, chairman of the Management Board of Union Investment Real Estate AG, which is contributing to the development of a sustainable building certification scheme as part of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).        <br />
              <br />

       On August 28, 2008 Ogmios Real Estate has opened the shopping and entertainment center Forum Cinemas Babilonas, operated by OI Finnkino in Lithuania. Babilonas now has three multiplex halls for more than 700 spectators with additional retail space on the first floor that is directly connected to the shopping center       <br />

       Nearby the cinema are 2 shopping and entertainment centers, the only skating rink in Panevezys, a home improvement, garden equipment and construction materials store &#8220;Bauhof&#8221;, and a Technical Service Center, &#8220;Kesko Agro Lithuania&#8221;. Total City, within City Babilonas, claims 66,000 m² of space, including all development stages.        <br />
              <br />
       A Volvo &amp; Renault Car Retail and Service Center is under construction, and the development of the third shopping center BABILONAS with construction appliances and vehicle center STOKKER, Sanitex &#8220;Cash &amp; Carry&#8221;, and Gas Station &#8220;PKN Orlen&#8221; will be started soon. An additional 52,000 m² of GLA will be built in the period of one year.       <br />
              <br />
       The Babilonas project occupies a 80 ha territory in Panevezys City between Riga and Vilnius. OI Finnkino already has 4 multiplexes in Lithuania and 26 in the world.       <br />

       The Full Service Property Consultancy NAI Pickard represented the buyer Uniqa Real Estate AG, a part of the        <br />
       Uniqa Insurance Group, on their aquisition of the City Centre Retail &amp; Entertainment Complex in Mykolaiv.       <br />
              <br />
       City Centre with a total area 25,000 m² enjoys a superior location, in the central part of Mykolaiv on the busiest crossroads of Lenina &amp; Sadova streets. There are more than 20 public transport routes nearby. Approximately 50% of the city's inhabitants (about 250,000) have easy access by a 10 minute drive. Besides an excellent location the City Centre is fully tenanted with a mix of both international and Ukrainian retail chains with such major anchors as Velyka Kyshenya, Intertop, City.com, Colins, Reserved, Brocard, Adidas, Columbia and others. The entertainment area includes a bowling club, billiard, cinema, restaurants &amp; café.       <br />

       HSH Nordbank has arranged and underwritten a £325 million, 5-year facility for Big Yellow, the leading provider of self storage facilities in the UK. The facility will replace a similar facility provided by a syndicate of banks led by the Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC.       <br />
              <br />
              <br />
       The facility will be secured by fixed charges over Big Yellow's portfolio of complete and open self storage properties which are almost all owned freehold. These stores provide nearly 3 million ft² of space available for rental. Big Yellow has expanded rapidly in recent years. All its stores have distinctive yellow branding and are positioned in accessible main road locations. The majority are in Greater London or in strong urban conurbations.       <br />
              <br />
       James Gibson, Chief Executive of Big Yellow, commented, &#8220;We are delighted to secure this new facility which will provide the core financing of the group. It represents good news for all our stakeholders.       Le Procimmo Swiss Commercial Fund, premier fonds de placement immobilier indépendant spécialisé dans le secteur commercial, a bouclé ses premiers comptes annuels au 30 juin 2008 après 7 mois et 22 jours d'existence. Il en ressort des résultats très positifs, à savoir une augmentation de la VNI de 6,3%, un dividende à distribuer de 1,05% et une valeur fiscale de la part à 0,94 francs.       <br />
              <br />
       <b>Des résultats prometteurs : Augmentation de la VNI de 6,3%</b>       <br />
              <br />
       Après avoir levé 125 millions de francs en novembre 2007, le fonds a acquis vingt bâtiments pour un montant global de 190 millions de francs. Ces bâtiments se situent tous dans les cantons de Vaud (92%) et du Valais (8%). Ils sont tous des bâtiments strictement commerciaux ou mixtes (bureaux, surfaces de vente, sites industriels) et les appartements ne représentent que 10% du parc.       <br />
       Le Procimmo a investi tout son patrimoine dans la propriété immobilière directe et de ce fait les porteurs de part sont défiscalisés pour les revenus qu'ils tirent de leur investissement ainsi que pour le capital qu'ils ont investi.       <br />
              <br />
       Les résultats obtenus sont en parfaite concordance avec ce qui avait été annoncé au moment du lancement du fonds.        <br />
              <br />
       <b>Augmentation de capital en septembre 2008</b>       <br />
              <br />
       Le fonds Procimmo procédera à une augmentation de capital en septembre 2008 avec une libération des fonds le 2 octobre 2008. Les porteurs de parts actuels disposent d'un droit de souscription et peuvent souscrire à 2 nouvelles parts contre 3 anciennes. Les nouveaux investisseurs peuvent racheter des droits de souscription auprès de la Banque Cantonale Vaudoise.       <br />
              <br />
       Les promoteurs du fonds entendent ainsi lever 80 millions de francs supplémentaires pour acquérir de nouveaux bâtiments pour 60 millions de francs et procéder à des constructions pour 40 millions de francs. Dans la suite de la politique suivie jusqu'à ce jour, le fonds acquerra deux immeubles en Suisse alémanique, respectivement dans la région de Zurich et dans la région de Berne. De plus, le fonds construira environ 150 boxes de stockage dans des halles industrielles et bénéficiera de la forte demande existant pour ce type d'objet.       <br />
              <br />
       <b>Entrée en bourse en novembre 2008</b>       <br />
              <br />
       Le fonds Procimmo sera introduit à la bourse suisse SWX en novembre 2008. Cette introduction sera pilotée par la Banque Cantonale Vaudoise et par la société de direction FidFund Management SA       <br />
              <br />
       Procimmo Swiss Commercial Fund est un fonds de placement immobilier de droit suisse. Il a été autorisé par la Commission fédérale des Banques en date du14 août 2007 et il est régi par la loi fédérale sur le placement collectif de capitaux (LPCC) du 23 juin 2006. Des exemplaires du prospectus et du contrat de fonds de placement peuvent être obtenus directement auprès de la direction de fonds, Fidfund Management SA à Nyon ou auprès de la banque dépositaire, la Banque Cantonale Vaudoise.       <b>The new company will initially deploy and operate solar panels in its logistic parks</b>       <br />

       Coperfil Real Estate Group, specialists in property development and investment in logistics, retail and business parks, has created CORE ENERGY (Coperfil Real Estate Energy), a new investment company in renewable energies which will start its activity by placing architecturally integrated solar panels on the group's building's roofs. The company is also working on the possibility of long-term wind generators placing.       <br />
              <br />
       According to Oriol Gual, Director of Property at Coperfil Real Estate Group, "CORE ENERGY is not only a vehicle for an attractive new type of profitable investment for shareholders, financial institutions, government and society; it also represents an added value significant increase in our company's real estate investments&#8221;.       <br />
              <br />
       On a first stage, CORE ENERGY will bring additional incomes to real estate investments by renting the building's roofs where it will place the photovoltaic plates. The energy generated by these photovoltaic plates will be geared to the electrical network.       <br />
              <br />
       With the creation of CORE ENERGY, Coperfil Real Estate Group will obtain similar profitability from the real-estate investment and, at the same time, the company will show its implication on the environmental preservation. The company also lines up with the premises of the new Royal Decree, which stimulates the installation of solar panels on roofs and near to consumption areas.       <br />
              <br />
       Coperfil Real Estate Group buildings morphology won't be modified by the solar panel facilities. This will allow CORE ENERGY to invest in solar panels for new buildings and also for those that are already in use.       <br />
              <br />
       Logistic Park Logispark in Sallent (Barcelona) has already 17.000 m² of installed solar panels, which will be in use at the end of August and will be able to provide 400Kwp of power. An estimated investment of 12 million Euros is expected by the end of 2009, in order to increase Coperfil Real Estate Group's parks' power up to 3MWp.       <br />
              <br />
       In addition to the implantation and facility of the photovoltaic plants, the company is also considering the possibility of placing wind farms inside its logistic parks.       <br />
              <br />
              <br />
       <b>Solar panels produced with power saving</b>       <br />
              <br />
       The solar panels used by Coperfil Real Estate Group are made with a thin layer of amorphous silicon, as it is considered as the better adapting to warehouses' roofs' prouct, so no modifications are needed. In addition, this product strongly reduces the energetic expense during its manufacturing process. Therefore, these modules have a very short time of amortization of the energy with this system. In other words, these modules need less months to generate as much energy as the consumed while their manufacturing process.       <br />
              <br />
       This technology based on the thin layer of amorphous silicon allows Coperfil Real Estate Group to reduce by half EPT (Energy Payback Steals), or energy amortization time, in comparison to the usual crystalline technologies. Those elder technologies required much more energetically expensive manufacturing processes.       <br />
              <br />
       The modules used by the company provide a practically constant productivity and are lesser dependent on temperature and orientation than those commonly used. Besides, their maintenance is simpler, which make them suitable for long-term investments.       <br />

      Burj Dubai, the iconic tower being developed by Emaar Properties PJSC, has reached a new record height of 688 meters (2,257.2 ft). The tower became the world's tallest after surpassing North Dakota, USA's KVLY-TV mast (628.8 metres; 2,063 ft) in April 2008. Currently at over 160 storeys, the tower also has the largest number of floors in any building.       <br />
              <br />
       When completed, Burj Dubai will meet all four criteria listed by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), which classifies the world's tallest structures. CTBUH measures the height of buildings to the structural top, the highest occupied floor, the top of the roof and the tip of the spire, pinnacle, antenna, mast or flag pole.        <br />
              <br />
       Designed by Chicago-based Skidmore, Owings &amp; Merrill (SOM), Burj Dubai is constructed by high-rise experts South Korea's Samsung Corporation. Turner Construction International is the project and construction manager.       <br />
              <br />
       Currently, some 7,500 professionals and skilled workers are employed on-site at Burj Dubai. Cladding work is nearing completion and work has started on the interiors, which will boast superior finishes. The best energy efficient technologies are being deployed to ensure that the iconic building is also a standard for energy usage and recycling of water.        <br />
              <br />
       Burj Dubai anchors Emaar's flagship mega-project, the AED 73 billion (US$20 billion) Downtown Burj Dubai. Described as the new heart of the city, Downtown Burj Dubai is a mixed-use neighbourhood with premium hotels, exclusive business facilities, modern residences, shopping malls and leisure facilities.        <br />

      Die Quantum Immobilien AG (Quantum) hat einen historischen Gebäudekomplex mit rund 18.750 Quadratmeter Fläche in der Ludwigstraße und Von-der-Tann-Straße in Münchens Innenstadt erworben. Das Ensemble besteht aus fünf Gebäuden und befindet sich im Stadtteil Maxvorstadt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Siegestor, dem Odeonsplatz und dem Englischem Garten. Verkäufer und Hauptmieter ist die Hypo Real Estate Bank AG. Das Gesamtinvestitionsvolumen beläuft sich auf rund 130 Mio. Euro.       <br />

       In den sechs- und siebengeschossigen Gebäuden befinden sich Büros, sowie Wohnungen und Flächen für den gehobenen Einzelhandel. In zwei Untergeschossen stehen den Nutzern rund 140 Stellplätze sowie Lagerflächen zur Verfügung. Der überwiegende Teil der Büroflächen &#8211; circa 10.000 Quadratmeter - wird sukzessive neu vermietet und in Abstimmung mit den zukünftigen Nutzern umfassend modernisiert.       <br />

       Die Gebäude bilden mit ihren Innenhöfen ein eigenständiges Quartier und stehen unter Ensembleschutz. Die Häuser in der Ludwigstraße 6 bis 10 sind zwischen 1961 und 1967 als Rekonstruktion eines Entwurfes des Architekten Leo von Klenze errichtet. Dieser erbaute bis 1830 auch das Haus Von-der-Tann-Straße 2, das in die Denkmalliste aufgenommen wurde.        <br />
